Housed in an old Soviet era Publishing House. The property cleverly incorporates the building’s history into its design elements, resulting in an effortlessly stylish mix of old-world Tbilisi charm, New York-style art deco, and the youthful contemporary energy currently turning the Georgian capital into one of Europe's rising cultural hotspots.
Vibe
Think The Grand Budapest Hotel meets 1930's New York, swathed in hipster chic luxury. Weathered leather, brushed copper and warehouse windows give the interiors a mysterious air, while outside organic herbs grow in the courtyard garden and tangled wisteria climbs up the disused metal lift shaft. Salvaged wood, along with postindustrial window frames, create an eye-catching façade. Sections of the hotel, showcasing original Georgian art, have been given gallery-like treatment featuring atrium-style walls that allow for plenty of daylight.
Rooms
125 rooms feature a rough-but-sophisticated artisanal interior, outfitted with handmade wallpaper, rich wood floors complement claw-foot tubs, and mood lighting underpinning it all. Marshall speakers, leather headboards and medieval chandeliers are prevalent throughout each room category.
Food & Drink
Kitchen Restaurant: Serves modern American cuisine, with a wide spread for breakfast which features many gluten-free options.
Lolita: Across the road from the hotel, Lolita is a pseudo-Gothic 19th-century building which was once a residence for some of Georgia's most prominent cultural and artistic figures. Lolita is an innovational concept of comfort food and special mixology knowledge.
The Bar and The Garden Bar: Expect a New Yorkish swagger and mixologists crafting cocktails with botanicals from the garden. The low-key, sociable vibe gets more frenzied as the night goes on.

Cons and Areas For Improvement
Staff - Service is seriously lacking. Despite not being overly busy in the Kitchen restaurant, the staff took forever to come and take our order and to bill us. Additionally drinks which were ordered would have to be constantly followed up on. There is a distinct language barrier which makes things even more complicated, but considering this is an affiliate Marriott property, we expected more.
Lighting in rooms- For design purposes the lighting is dim in the room, however this is a real inconvenience when you are trying to get dressed and do your makeup.
Cupboards - There are none! Although there are places to hang your clothes, cupboards would be a welcome addition.
