Save Me Too, Peacock

November 5th

Between Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Michaela Coel, we sure do love British talent who can create and star in their own series. A long-estranged father throws himself full throttle into finding his missing daughter after he’s arrested as a suspect in the kidnapping. Never giving up, the truths his slow-boiling revelations uncover (both about the case and himself) make for a television series as absorbing as it is trying.

Narcos fans: It's the crossover moment you've been waiting for. Even though the original Narcos series ended in 2017, Wagner Moura will reprise his role as Pablo Escobar to appear in the third and final season of the thriller show about the Guadalajara Cartel. TV fans were ride-or-die for Michael C. Hall's classic antihero character in the '00s… at least until the controversial final season when many felt that the show fell off. Now, your favorite serial killer is coming back in an attempt to rewrite the last installment of the Showtime hit. New Blood features 10 episodes that take place 10 years after the events of the final season, finding Dexter Morgan hiding out under a new identity in a small Upstate New York town, humorous lens of a desperate but determined woman, this series is a raw and inspiring exploration of a mother’s resilience.

Yellowjackets, Showtime

November 14th

The chances of a plane full of teenagers crashing and forcing them to live in the wild is probably quite rare, but ever since Lord of the Flies was published, it sure has inspired Hollywood to create many different takes on the specific concept. Yellowjackets is one of those, taking on a psychological-horror-leaning, as it follows a high school girls soccer team who crashes in the wilderness, forcing them to go to extreme lengths to survive. What happened in those dangerous woods ends up sticking with them their whole lives, seeing the show play out in two timelines that revisits the women 25 years later. Christina Ricci, Juliette Lewis, and Melanie Lynskey are among the adult cast.

The Crown Season 5, Netflix

November 15th

As one of Netflix’s most decorated series, this period drama should be mandatory viewing for anyone with not just an interest in world history and the British monarchy, but an interest in first-rate prestige. Season 5 promises fireworks from Colman and Helena Bonham Carter’s final outing before the series moves on to the Queen’s later years, embodied by Imelda Staunton; plus, the introduction of another iconic royal this year, Princess Diana (Emma Corrin), is all the more reason to catch up with a binge.

Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness Season 2, Netflix

October 15th

Hey, all you cool cats and kittens! Did you know there was more Tiger King coming to Netflix? It's unclear if the upcoming episodes will be a follow-up of where the cases at the center of the docuseries stand now or a release of extra footage that went unused in Season 1, but the showrunners are back on board.
